Utterly exquisite, early 1900s Edwardian Irish crochet and linen duster coat. This incredibly rare piece, features an extraordinary amount of hand done, Irish crochet. Exhibiting 3D florals and crocheted pom poms that pleasurably dangle and dance from the three starched linen panels in the front and back. There are also two internal crocheted lapels that create a beautiful texture at the bust, or could even be attached via a snap, as shown in modeled photos. According to the woman I acquired this from, she said this piece was found in a chest in its original tissue. Appears almost completely unworn and bears just a few tiny marks from storage. In truly incredible condition. Best for a size medium, though could definitely fit a bit smaller. The sleeves are quite long and could either be worn long or perhaps very delicately cuffed. Can be worn and styled so many ways. This is a once in a lifetime, heirloom piece, that can be loved and enjoyed for years to come.
