Mid Century Nude of Moroccan Woman on Red Striped Carpet- 21 x 25”

Interesting and vibrant, oil painting of a nude woman in a red themed room. Painting is of a Moroccan woman done by a French painter. Composition is playfully amateur and quickly but still has intriguing elements and over shows a lot of talent. I love the lines and texture of the carpet in juxtaposition with the monotone red couch. The quintessential 1950s wooden bulbous lamp oddly positioned in the corner. Up close you can see the beauty of the brushstrokes and overall texture. I could definitely see this piece in  bedroom or bath.

Condition: has a small area of paint loss in the shadow of the mirror, as well as a chip in the paint near her neckline. The small white dots are actually paint splatter, not paint loss. Overall I really love her look and presence!
