Absolute perfection does exist, with this impeccable, late 1800s, cotton calico tea gown. I adore polka dots, especially when they’re antique! This gown is in such strong and sturdy condition. Whole torso is double lined with matching polka dot fabric, down to the waist. Unbuttons fully down to the hem with thick, mother of pearl buttons, so that you can wear as a dress, or even a floor length duster! This piece just ever so slightly skims the floor on me and I am 5’5”, 5’6”. I love the ruffle trim on the cuffs, as when as the thick ruffle band that goes around the bottom hem of the skirt. Features puckered shoulders and a tailored waist. Perfect to layer with jewelry and a straw basket bag. This dress really has it all and has a whole other life to live. I did not notice any flaws on this dress, truly just fabulous.
