Utterly magnificent, antique Irish crocheted dress with an ultra sexy low cut. Features a high low hemline which makes for a petite, yet lovely, train in the back. She has beautiful large crocheted flowers throughout and opens on the side down to the waist with snaps. Snaps can be adjusted to make slightly larger, if desired. Irish crochet is a form of handmade lace that became popular in the mid 1800s. This lace features raised floral and organic motifs and is entirely done by hand. It became a valued luxury good worn by high society and royalty for its quality and detail.

The style of this dress hints that it may have been worn over other pieces or perhaps altered, or made, into this form in the 1930s. She is strong and durable  ready to be worn. Would make a lovely bridal piece.
