Antique Black Devoré Velvet Swiss Waist Corset- S/M

Stunning, early 1900s antique corset, made of Devoré velvet with a dramatic Swiss waist. This corset is likely a folk piece that mimicked early to mid 19th century corsets. The devoré velvet, also known as burnout velvet, is of a lovely rose design. A nice size and will fit a modern size 6. Top of the bust measures 35” across, but will fit up to a 36” and down to a 34”, with the bust slightly propped up.

In lovely condition for her age and is quite wearable. Has two small cracks in either side of the top of the bust and two tiny cracks/mends where the straps connect. The strap drop is slightly adjustable from the two rows of closures. Wear over a billowy blouse or dress. Just so much fun to style!
