Antique 1800s Victorian Linen Set w/ Thick Shell Buttons- XS/S

Gorgeous, soft yet hearty, linen Victorian set with a long row of thick medallion mother of pearl buttons down the bodice and cuffs. Cuffs are long, almost creating a mutton sleeve. Puffed, articulated shoulders for the classic Victorian effect. Bodice has gathering at the waist with a cropped cut. Skirt has three hook and eye closures on the back and snaps have been added down the slit. One generous side pocket. Material has a selvedge edge. Can be worn together or would be cute as separates. Overall in excellent condition for age and very wearable. A small mend on the bust and there has been some reinforcement on the sides done with a pale blue thread. Luckily the stitches are small and won’t be noticeable lest looking closely. Skirt is in excellent condition. Hook and eyes could be moved in to create a 24” waist. Color is a flax, or light grey brown with white windowpane detail.
