1990s Distressed + Custom Studded Levi’s 501s- S-S/M

Fabulous pair of 1990s vintage Levi’s 501s with excellent wear and patina. These made in USA jeans are a light to medium light wash and have been displayed on my XS mannequin. I think would be rad a little oversized, but would also look cute as a snug fit too. These are marked and measure to a 29” waist and are mid rise at 11” and should land right at or below the navel. Likely best for a 26-27 modern pant size. These do have various holes and distressing, there is a small hole that has formed at the base of the button fly. I have decided to leave it as I feel trying to mend it could attract more attention. This tends to happen with a lot of Levi’s.

I have studded these as an homage to boutique shops in Los Angeles from the 90s to early 2000s. As a kid and teenager, my absolute favorite thing to do was go shopping at these boutique shops. There was always something new every week and something to covet that inspired new ideas and influenced my self expression, style and dreams of how I wanted to show up in the world. I always saved up my money to buy a little something special. These shops were filled with independent designers, many who made new and exciting things from the old. Sadly, now when I look around, this certain spark is gone. Yet, this is why I’m so passionate about vintage and in person vintage events, as it inspires endless creativity.
