Fabulous, 1970s black rayon moss crepe dress by iconic British designer, Ossie Clark. Features a stunning, satin swiss waist + deco style cuffs, structured shoulders and an elegant drape. More of a midi cut, this dress looks fabulous with tall boots. Definitely the best midi dress you will ever wear, as the cut is so flattering. 

Clark was known for his master tailoring and romantic designs that lived through the 1960s + 70s. He was heavily inspired by 1930s and 40s fashion and clothed many cultural icons of the time. Clark is now known as the designers designer. As his work is often referenced by prominent contemporary designers, and living examples of his work are highly sought after.

This dress has been worn and loved but only presents gentle signs of wear. There is a small snag on the shoulder and a tinny mark at the cuff. As well as some light wear on the buttons. Marked a 36. Just beautiful.
