1960s Rare Laura Ashley Corduroy Dress w/ Caplet- S/M

Stunning, rare, early Laura Ashley dress from the 1960s. Beautiful milk chocolate, wider whale corduroy, with a matching caplet. Empire waist and tiered cape is reminiscent of a regency or mid 1800s fashion. Slightly heavier weight makes it a wonderful ensemble for winter and spring! Can be worn with or without the caplet, of course. Laura Ashley and her husband had a textile business before starting to produce dresses in the 1960s in Whales. This is one of those inaugural pieces.

Overall in excellent condition with very light wear. Shown in photos.

(14” seam to seam, but the seams are more inset like and there is about an inch or so more that extends into the shoulders)
