1950s Golden Lamé Bombshell Pleated Playsuit- S

Absolutely wonderous and rare, 1950s golden lamé, micro pleated playsuit mini dress by Alix of Miami. Features built in bottoms and a lot of structure. There is strong elastic smocking on the side to give this piece a little give. Sadly, this did not zip up at all on me, so I was not able to showcase how the bust would look when worn properly. So it looks a little large and clunky in the photos. This piece does have some flaws though overall very structurally sound and presents practically pristine. First of these would be the straps. They are starting to deteriorate at the top and will need to be replaced, or could also be cut off and worn strapless. Then there is a tiny amount of wear on the waist on both sides. Lastly there are some marks on the internal lining. All shown in photos. A drop in the bucket for how wonderful and magnificent this collector piece is!
