1940s Silky Linen Smocked Orange Folk Skirt- 34” Waist

Super lovely, 1940s orange smocked skirt in a nice long length. Material is very interesting. It has a nobby, linen-like texture and almost feels like it has some silk in it as it’s very cool and has such a slinky drape. Side metal talon zipper closure. Multicolor embroidery thread used for the beautiful smocking detail. Overall in lovely condition. Does have some faint marks from age on the front of the skirt, as well as some wear on the inside of the waist band.
