1940s Rare Novelty Travel Print Silk Blouse- S/M-M

Incredible and rare, 1940s novelty print silk travel blouse. Features a vast array of vibrant cerulean and aqua blue, paired with chartreuse luggage stickers and tickets. My favorite is the Cunard White Star Line, but contains stickers from all across Europe. Pearl button closures with flouncy balloon sleeves.

In fabulous condition for age with some small, superficial flaws. First are that the darts at the waist have been taken out which has left small abrasions in the fabric. I’ve shown these in photos and luckily they are not very obvious and quite hard to see. Would also be covered if tucked into pants or a skirt. Then there is also the faintest amount of color bleed from the aqua blue. Super hard to read, though shown in the last photos. As well as a small mark next to the dragon on the chartreuse stamp. Very well preserved for a silk blouse from that era and such a dynamite collector or maximalist piece!
