1940s Pear + Earthenware Kitchen Still Life. Oil on Board- 15 x 18”

Lovely, 1940s still life depicting a kitchen scene of an earthenware pot, pears and a kitchen towel. The soft strokes and warm tones emanate a feeling of contentment and peace. A reminder that we only need a little to make a good meal and a good home. There are some light scratches which are visible in the photos. I don’t find them particularly apparent and seem to blend in well with the painting itself. Medium is oil on board.
