1940s Purple Kamehameha Cold Rayon Hawaiian Dress- S

Truly wonderful, 1940s royal Purple Hawaiian dress by Kamehameha. The lustrous and cool, cold rayon print features depictions of large philodendron leaves, anthurium flowers and curly ferns. Ankle length with a ruffle hem and ruffled collar. Metal zipper closure in the back (this did not zip up fully on me, by the way). Overall is really lovely vintage condition with some light signs of wear. The purple dye on this piece is still extraordinarily vibrant, but there is some sun-fading on the shoulders and a few tiny holes. As well as some teeny tiny dots on the bottom of the skirt that sort of look like a light mist spray. You’ll see what I mean when you look at the photos. A stunning and collectible piece of hawaiiana, ready to be worn and enjoyed in her next life.
