1940s Black Rayon Heavily Embroidered Hostess Dress w/ Fuchsia Sash- S/M-M

Stunning and one of a kind, 1940s inky black, rayon hostess gown, or boudoir gown, with the most enchanting floral embroidery! Embroidered with  a thicker yarn, this piece boasts the most beautiful array of florals on the bust, cuffs and bottom of the skirt. Also comes with its fabulous and original, sash of black and contrasting fuchsia pink, which proudly reveals itself as the fabric moves while you wear it. Closures are an internal tie, and two buttons at the waist, as well as a snap and button at the collar. Darling bell sleeves just highlight the gorgeous silhouette of this once in a lifetime dress!

In wonderful vintage condition and very strong and wearable. There is a mend at the back of the shoulder and at the back of the bottom of the skirt. As well as at the armpit. All well done and don’t attract attention when worn at all. Just marvelous. Will fit a few sizes. The fabric is a thicker weight, but does have a nice bit of give and stretch.
