1930s Rare Clown Striped Crochet French Waistcoat- S- S/M

Absolutely delightful, 1930s multicolored crocheted waistcoat vest. Clowncore at its finest! Features beautiful, muted primary colors and complimentary multicolored crochet covered buttons. So playful! Two petite deco pockets and a cropped fit. Label read “VOG… Paris” it was challenging to make out the other words. In almost perfect condition with a few very tiny and very well done mends. Shown in photos. Can be worn as a top or worn over a blouse or distressed tee shirt. Material is a thin wool yarn. A truly stunning piece of early knitwear.
