1930s Petal Pink Gabardine Flap Front Shorts- S/M

These stunning, 1930s gabardine high rise, flap front shorts, in the most excellent petal pink hue, are easily one of my favorite finds ever. Not only is the color so unique but wearing them is an absolute experience as they’re ultra high rise and almost feel like a girdle! Made of strong, gabardine fabric with two rows of mother of pearl buttons going up the sides. The wide waistband is a real treat as it goes up just below the bust, almost like a waist corset, and then has a great pointed detail in the back. Just thinking about the options of blouses to style these with makes me giddy.

Condition issues would be superficial and faint marks and one of the mop buttons have been replaced. All shown in photos. True color tone is in the worn/modeled photos (was really tricky to get lighting right in the lay flats as it dulled down her beautiful pink color). Made by Sun Fashions.
