Absolutely exquisite and beyond words, 1930s luscious charmeuse silk teddy step in, with an absolutely magnificent lace trim. Silk is a thick weight, sultry charmeuse that has beautiful pintucking through the bodice, torso and hips. It has a strong opacity and one could probably get away without wearing a bralette beneath. Lace is marvelous and is backed with another layer of bobbinet. It features thick, layered cording with gorgeous floral motifs, as well as scalloped edging. There are three snap closures at the bottom and can be slipped overhead or stepped into. Appears to be entirely hand sewn and is a stunning work of wearable art. Though meant originally to be worn indoors as lingerie, I love wearing step ins out and about. She would look adorable with some flats, layered jewelry and perhaps a scarf on your handbag. The perfect summer piece.

She is in excellent condition for age, with only an ultra tiny pinhole at the top of the bust, and some very faint and light abrasions to the fabric on the back side. All shown in photos.
