1930s Ethereal Ivory Silk Babydoll Peignoir w/ Scalloped Collar- S-S/M

Extremely lovely, 1930s ivory silk peignoir duster with the most beautiful features. First would be the fabulous, scalloped, babydoll collar with pintucking and lace trim. Has mother of pearl, cat eye buttons.  As well as balloon sleeves with fluttered cuffs. Has a hidden, internal button at the waistline, if worn unopened then it will allow more room in the empire waist.

Overall in lovely condition with some small mends and flaws, first would be some lace appliqués added to the back to cover up some small holes. There are still two tiny pinholes. The underarms have also been tucked slightly and there are some scattered holes on the back of the skirt. This could easily be hemmed off, but I know some prefer the mini train, so I’ll leave that up to the discretion of the buyer. All shown in photos. Presents absolutely beautifully and is certainly still a very unique and lovely piece.
