1930s Eastern European Coral Velvet Folk Jacket- M

Beautiful and unique, 1930s folk jacket with gorgeous and intricate designs and beads. As far as my knowledge will take me, I believe this is Eastern European. Perhaps a Polish or a Czechoslovakian ceremonial jacket. The color of the dusty, yet vivid coral pink, is very similar to other period garments I’ve seen from that time, albeit rare! So that is how I am dating her. This jacket is lined in a  cotton fabric and features the most beautiful petaled peplum, as well as two functional, yet petite, front pockets with flaps. Condition is overall good and strong. There is patina and wear throughout, including rust stains and some loss of beading in some areas. However, the white ribboned detail beneath still remains so it is not very obvious unless you are looking closely. Lining has some staining. Cuffs do not have closures, they could be added if desired. There are also two very well done mends in the back. I’ve done my best to take lots of photos so she can be observed. Beautiful open or closed. A truly stunning statement piece!
