1930s Medieval Golden Velvet + Red Floral Lamé Gown- S/M
There are hardly words for this absolutely breathtaking, 1930s lamé + velvet evening gown. Made of an exquisite, red silk chiffon lamé with a gorgeous floral print, and a beautiful golden velvet, which almost has a hint of green to it. It is brought together by a metallic, green corded belt. Sexy, plunging low back with a zipper closure. Two shoulder pads help to support the fair medium weight of this dress. Reminiscent of a medieval era gown, with all the hallmarks of the iconic, 1930s silhouette. A truly one of a kind treasure.
Overall condition is really wonderful for it age. There is a watermark on the bottom of the skirt, I feel this gets lost in the folds when worn. There’s a small pinhole by the neckline and a darn mend on one of the shoulders. Luckily this is also supported by the shoulder pads. As well as a well done mend beneath the underarm which looks like a dart. For all older gowns I recommend them to be stored folded, instead of hung to preserve them the best.
Would make an absolutely show stopping piece for a wedding or a fine event. A once in a lifetime piece!
