Absolutely fantastic and rare, 1930s charcoal corduroy outwear jacket by I. Magnin. Features a beautiful, wide whale corduroy fabric and iconic 1930s angular shoulders (there are shoulder pads built in). Cinches at the waist with a braided tie. Internal lining feels like a silk blend. This piece is also quite warm and may be insulated in some way. Overall this piece is in magnificent condition for its age and has such a stunning and subtley dramatic silhouette. Does have some minor wear; small amount of sunfading on the back of one wrist cuff, slight loss of tension in the braid of one of the ties (could be replaced somewhere down the line), and a stain on the internal lining which is not visible when worn. That’s it! Such a magical piece for the fall and winter seasons.
