1930s Deco Cabernet Lambskin Shell Handbag w/ Brass Hardware

Exemplary piece of art deco history in this gorgeous, 1930s faded Cabernet red, leather handbag in a clamshell shape. Leather is soft and supple and feels like a lambskin. All hardware is brass with a very unique snap closure at the top. You open the hardware to the side to release the closure. Beautiful patina and in beautiful condition for age. An absolute treasure!
