1930s/40s Aubergine Velvet + French Lace Dress w/ Rhinestones- S/M

Truly lovely, 1930s/40s aubergine purple velvet dress with ruffled french lace trim. This stunning dress is ankle length and has the most gorgeous, flouncy ruffled lace collar and sleeve cuffs, which are embellished with rhinestones. Rhinestones have become a bit grey over time, but it creates a certain beautiful patina. She is topped off by a stunning millinery hydrangea flower at the base of the v neck bust. I would wear this with boots or flats, or a finer shoe if I were wearing for a more formal event. In lovely condition for age with some gentle wear here and there. Presents beautifully.
