1920s Orange Woolen Avant Garde Jacket- S
Very beautiful and unique, 1920s woolen woven jacket with interesting abstract details. Color seems almost electric as the warp and weft are of an orange and then mustard yarn, giving a neon highlight effect. Collar and inner trim are lined with a beautiful golden silk. This same silk would have lined at least the arms and likely the back of the jacket fully but there is evident of shattering and has been removed at some point in time. In wonderful condition for its age, there are only two small holes, one on the shoulder and back of the neck, shown in photos. Structurally strong. Looks to me like something that could have come out of the Weiner Werkstatte.
I have heard from a few people who have tried this on that the wrist cuffs are small and hard to get hands through if you have larger hands, so I’ve included that measurement below. I didn’t have a problem with this the few times I have tried it on.
Size: S
Ptp: 31-35”
Sts: 14.5/15”
L/: 24”
Sleeve: 23.5”
Wrist cuff opening: 8” around
