Wonderful, floral still life from France. Oil on wood panel in a quilt frame. The frame has undergone many repairs but is still very charming, painting itself is in wonderful condition. I love the ironstone ivory vase with the blue flowers. Has marvelous texture, shadows and depth. This piece is signed and dated. Dated 1920. Signed P.C. Nice. I believe “Nice” is referring to the place it was created rather than a last name.
