1920s Champagne Grape Silk Chiffon Devoré Velvet Goddess Gown- S/M-M
A true delicacy, in this 1920s, light lavender champagne silk chiffon + devoré velvet goddess gown. The color is so gentle and ethereal that it reminded me of a lavender champagne, if such a thing exists! Not to mention the joy of the gorgeous grape and vine designs in the devoré velvet. Features balloon sleeves, which I have since replaced the elastic in the cuffs since taking the modeled photos. Has a long shift style and can be cinched with a sash or worn released. So elegant and magical!
In lovely condition for age with some small flaws. There are some rust marks by the neckline (or back of the neck). I found this piece to be reversible and I wore it technically backwards in modeled photos. So you can wear in any orientation you prefer. As well as some other light marks at the neckline and a faint stain in the middle of the dress. Shown in the last photo. There is also a small pinhole on one side near the underarm. I have taken this into account and priced down for this. Sadly many antiques aren’t perfect, but she’s close!
As she’s silk chiffon she is sheer. I wore a nude leotard and it worked perfectly.
