1920s/30s Black Velvet Gypsy Skirt w/ Lamé Floral Appliqué- S

Whimsical and elegant, 1920s/30s fire red skirt with a thick, black velvet waistband. Features lamé floral appliqué with taupe velvet. Thick hook and eye closures in the back. Hem is slightly high low, from right to left. Skirt feels like it could be a rayon type material. There is a thick liner in the waistband to help secure. Appears like it would be quite comfortable when worn. There is a patch mend done with complimentary black velvet in the skirt, as well as some larger marks on the right hip, and smaller splattered in other areas. Overall such a gorgeous patina with the unique character of its antiquity. A wearable treasure.
